Between February and April 2022, CrewLAB competed against dozen of other start ups through three rounds of elimination in the Boston University New Venture Competition.
The New Venture Competition is Boston University’s largest annual competition that awards $72,000 in prizes to early-stage entrepreneurs and helps them transform their ideas into something real.
Round one was a written application for the 86 startups that participated. From that round, only the best 32 teams were selected to go onto an in-person semi-finals pitch. CrewLAB successfully qualified from the semi's into the in-person finals for the very best 6 teams. In the final, CrewLAB's venture, business plan and mission was loved by the live audience of 200 people, and we were awarded as winners of the Audience Choice Award. High praise given the audience contained many of Boston's best start up focused academics, successful founders and wise investors.
Following this success, CrewLAB was also invited to join the Innovate@BU Innovation Pathway program.
